The Parking Office is the business office for the Bureau, conducting and coordinating "Parking and Transportation Services" at Georgia Regents University (GRU). Our main business office is located in room HT-1147 on the first floor of the Annex II building (HT) between Walton Way and the John C. Calhoun Expressway, off 15th Street. The entrance to our main business office is located on the south side of the building. Our Summerville office is located at the corner of Gorgas Rd and Arsenal Ave, in the Public Safety building, right across from the row of warehouses.
Parking and Transportation Services
The Parking Office provides a variety of services to meet the needs of the patients, visitors, students, employees, and the Institution. These services include:
- Vehicle Registration & Issuing Parking Permits
- Motorist Assistance
- Special Events
- Disabled Parking on Campus
- Maintaining Campus Parking Facilities
- Enforcing Campus Parking Regulations
- MEDEXpress Shuttle Bus Service
Special Events Parking Requests
All requests for parking support for Special Events must be coordinated with the Parking Office; refer to GRU Administrative Policy and Procedure, No. 1.6.04, titled: "Designated Parking For: Conferences, Institutes, Special Events".
Disabled Parking Permits
Disabled parking at GRU is provided on a by-name basis for students and employees. You may contact the Parking Office to request a designated disabled parking space. This space will be located as conveniently to your work-site or academic class as possible.
For information on the requirements and procedures for obtaining a designated space; refer to GRU Administrative Policy and Procedure, No. 1.6.09, titled: "Request for Reserved Parking for Disabled Persons".
Registration and Permit Costs
Vehicle registration is conducted annually at GRU. New registration permits are issued in June, which must be displayed on the registered vehicle by July 1st.
Health Sciences Campus parkers can choose between Non-Reserved ($25 per month) or Reserved parking ($60 per month). Registration and parking zone information is available at the main GRU Parking Office in Annex II or at the satellite office in the Student Center. Reserved spots are monitored at all times and towing is enforced.
Summerville Campus parkers will pay $10 per month for parking. Students on the Summerville campus will register for parking on a semester-by-semester basis.

Hours of Operation
Health Sciences Office Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Summerville Campus Office Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Fridays.
HOLIDAYS: Our offices will be closed on Holidays observed by the schools.
