Georgia Regents University Summerville and Health Sciences Campuses (specifically the libraries and JSAC) will resume regular weekend operating hours on Sunday, Feb. 16 in preparation for normal student activities and classes on Monday, Feb. 17.

The Urban Bush Women performance scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 7:30 PM at the GRU Augusta Maxwell Theatre on the Summerville Campus, will take place as scheduled.

The Jaguars’ Peach Belt Conference basketball doubleheader with Columbus State (originally scheduled for Thursday) will take place on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. in Christenberry Fieldhouse on the Forest Hills Campus.

Ticket policies

  • There are no refunds or exchanges on tickets.
  • The box office accepts cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
  • Once the capacity of the theatre has been reached, ticket distribution will stop.
  • Tickets ordered online, over the phone, or through the mail will be held at the box office for pick up, unless the patron requests the tickets to be mailed. Only tickets ordered at least 6 business days before the event will be mailed when requested.
  • Tickets will not be reserved without payment.

ASU/GHSU students, faculty, and staff ticket policies

  • For 2012 ASU fall events with a general public price of $5 or less, ASU/GHSU students, faculty, and staff will be offered one free ticket with a valid University ID, as long as supplies last. Free tickets may be limited by performance. (some exceptions may apply)
  • For 2012 ASU fall events with a general public price over $5, ASU students will be offered one free ticket with a valid University ID, as long as supplies last. Free tickets may be limited by performance (some exceptions may apply)
  • For the ASU Theatre performances of Theatrical Magic: An Evening of One Acts, GHSU students will be offered one half price ticket with a valid University ID as long as supplies last.
  • For the ASU Lyceum Series presentation of Cantus, GHSU students may pick up one free ticket at the Wellness information desk in the GHSU Student Center, (only 50 tickets are available). There will also be $12 tickets (limit one per student) available from the Maxwell Theatre Box Office for GHSU students.
  • For the Cantus and Venice Baroque Orchestra performances held in conjuction with the Jacobs Concert Series there is a limited number of ASU/NewU free and half priced tickets. Free ASU/NewU student tickets are limited to 200 tickets for each concert. Free ASU/NewU half priced faculty and staff tickets are limited to 100 tickets for each concert.
  • For 2012 ASU fall events with a general public price over $5, ASU/GHSU faculty and staff will be offered one half price ticket. Half priced tickets may be limited by performance (some exceptions may apply).
  • Free and half priced ASU/GHSU tickets are only for the use of ASU/GHSU students, faculty, and staff. Ushers will check holders of these tickets for a valid University ID. Faculty and staff may not use student tickets. These tickets may not be used by guests or family of ASU/GHSU students, faculty, and staff OR anyone from outside the University.
  • ASU/GHSU student tickets may only be used by current ASU/GHSU students.
  • Due to the limited number of seats in the theatre, ASU students, faculty, and staff must reserve their ticket in advance in order to guarentee admission to the performance.
