The Medical Associates Group bills and collects professional services provided by Georgia Regents faculty and operates primary care and specialty physician offices.
IMMEDIATE OPENINGS - West Wheeler Multi-Speciality
PRACTICE SITE COORDINATOR: Professional leader providing guidance and direction to clinical and clerical staff within a multi-specialty clinic(s) in terms of clinical care, patient satisfaction, staff development, performance improvement and family centered care and patient education. Responsible for assuring that nursing care is provided in accordance with Health System policies and procedures, regulatory agencies, established standards of nursing care and practice and as defined by the state of Georgia. This leader is knowledgeable of the budgetary process providing input and assistance to the Administrative Director in its management. This includes cost containment, overseeing efficient use of resources, and optimizing revenue. Responsible for providing clinic statistics and ongoing tracking of data for appropriate benchmarking as required. Oversees the daily practice site operations. Responsible for clinic staffing, coordination of patient care, patient flow, recruitment, orientation, staff development, performance and evaluations. Serves as a liaison with the Administrative Director, staff and physicians. Other responsibilities include maintenance of a safe work environment, support of medical office and administrative policies.
BSN required. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in hospital/clinic environment, preferably in practice site specialty. Current active license as a registered professional nurse in the state of Georgia. Leadership and management capabilities. Masters in Nursing or health related field preferred.
CLINICAL NURSE - RN: The Clinical Nurse-RN assists in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the delivery of patient care. Under guidance of the physician, the Clinical Nurse provides individualized, direct patient care to promote restoration of health and achievement of patient health goals. Perform nursing functions in accordance with established physician office standards of nursing care and practices and as defined by the State of Georgia. Primary areas of responsibility include but are not limited to the assessment and patient care, administration of medications and IV fluids, IM medications, patient education, support of and communication with medical staff and practice leadership, maintenance of environment, security, and medical office/administrative policies. Perform specialized skills and assist other staff as requested.
State of Georgia RN nursing licensure required. Minimum of one year clinical nursing experience required. ObGyn experience preferred. Current CPR certification required
