The GRU Academic Scholarship Application deadline is March 1st for the upcoming academic year (e.g. March 1, 2013 is the deadline for Fall 2013/Spring 2014). The GRU Electronic Academic Scholarship Application is accessible through your Pounce account and is usually available after January 1st. After completing your application, you may electronically submit it to the GRU Office of Student Financial Aid. Many scholarships are need-based and, therefore, require completion of a FAFSA. If the Office of Student Financial Aid has not received your completed FAFSA (and any other required documents) by the time the Scholarship & Financial Assistance Committee meets to determine awards, you most likely will not be considered for these type scholarships. As such, all potential scholarship applicants are strongly encouraged to meet the regular financial aid application deadline.
STUDENTS CURRENTLY RECEIVING AN ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP:
Current GRU Academic Scholarship recipients and some departmental scholarship recipients are required to submit an Electronic Academic Scholarship Application by the March 1st deadline, in order to receive renewal scholarship consideration. If an application is not submitted by the deadline, you will not receive a GRU Academic Scholarship.
