Master of Public Administration

Welcome to the Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program of Georgia Regents University. If you are ready to pursue a graduate degree that prepares you for a career serving the community, you are browsing in the right place.

In today's rapidly changing world, collaboration is the key to improving our world. To address today's complex problems, government leaders must work proactively with nonprofit organizations and for-profit businesses. The MPA is the degree of choice for professionals working in government and the nonprofit sector. Why? Because it gives students practical skills in working with others to address the complex problems facing our government and our society.

Working professionals in our program gain valuable management and leadership skills essential to career advancement. Students coming directly from an undergraduate degree learn the basic management, human relations, and budgeting skills employers are looking for in a competitive job market. Regardless of experience, our students come from every discipline, sector, and field to form a rich, diverse academic community dedicated to the ideal expressed by Marian Wright Edelman:

"Service is the rent we pay to be living. It is the very purpose of life and not something you do in your spare time."

If you want to make the world, or just our community, a better place, the MPA is the degree you have been looking for!
