Call for Proposals Deadline Extended to January 11, 2015
Impacting Student Learning Conference
Premise: Effective educators have many successful practices that they can share. We invite you to share with other P-12 teachers, pre-service teachers, and university professors by participating in our 17h annual Impacting Student Learning Conference. This conference will provide more than forty concurrent sessions presented by classroom teachers, school administrators, higher education professors, and graduate students that address issues relevant to effective teaching and learning at all levels and in all subject areas. Our keynote speaker will be Lauren A. Eckman, 2013 Georgia Teacher of the Year.
Format: Presenters should submit a session proposal by January 11, 2015. Concurrent sessions are scheduled during four time periods. Sessions should be focused on sharing, modeling, and discussing teaching and learning, while allowing for interaction with and among session participants. Sessions are 60 minutes in length. Proposals for sessions can be submitted through the link below.

*If you choose to provide handouts, please plan for approximately 25 participants.
Conference registration is FREE to all GRU students and faculty and all partner school district employees (Burke, Columbia, Jefferson, Lincoln, McDuffie, and Richmond County). An optional lunch can be purchased for $7.
Non-GRU professors $50 (includes lunch)
Lunch will be catered by Atlanta Bread Company. The $7 lunch option includes a sandwich (meat or veggie), chips, pickle, dessert & drink.
