Georgia Regents University Summerville and Health Sciences Campuses (specifically the libraries and JSAC) will resume regular weekend operating hours on Sunday, Feb. 16 in preparation for normal student activities and classes on Monday, Feb. 17.
The Urban Bush Women performance scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 7:30 PM at the GRU Augusta Maxwell Theatre on the Summerville Campus, will take place as scheduled.
The Jaguars’ Peach Belt Conference basketball doubleheader with Columbus State (originally scheduled for Thursday) will take place on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. in Christenberry Fieldhouse on the Forest Hills Campus.

Impacting Student Learning Conference
The 16th Annual Impacting Student Learning Conference will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 8:00 - 3:00 at Georgia Regents University (GRU) in Augusta, Georgia. The conference is focused on practical strategies for enhancing P-12 student learning. Concurrent sessions will be aimed at practicing teachers (new and veteran) and professors who teach pre-service and in-service teachers. Sessions include topics such as common core curriculum, assessment, classroom management, differentiation, RTI, inclusion, content based learning, and time and stress management. There will also be opportunities for participants to network with fellow educators. Previous participants report they have learned many new ideas they were able to immediately implement in their P-12 or higher education classrooms.
We invite professors, P-12 teachers, undergraduate and graduate education students,
and others to submit proposals for 60 minute interactive sessions.
Registration is FREE for all GRU faculty and students and all faculty in our Partner Network School Districts (Burke, Columbia, Jefferson, McDuffie, Richmond, and Warren School Districts). Lunch (Chick Fil A sandwich, chips, dessert, and drink) is optional and can be purchased for $7.
Registration for all others is $50 and includes lunch.
